Good News to be shared.

So. On thursday I had my first post treatment PET scan and all is clear. Of course Mom was so happy she cried and I just sort of ...deflated. I'd been a little tense. And then as we were driving home I called all the siblings and planned an spur of the moment FIDO party. What is FIDO. Acoording to Dr. Ahmed it is the "Fred is Dead Organization" that he plans to start. Anyway if you would like to arrange your own FIDO party, then just call up some friends, have everybody bring some food and supply the margaritas.
So, Thursday morning was tense, Thursday after noon was elation and Thursday night was ...well, I'm not sure drunken stupor is the appropriate turn of phrase...But we were all pretty happy.
And then today Carol played a charity soccer tournament for Cancer. Huge events lots of teams, and Carol's team wore ribbons with my name on them on their uniforms. And then they presented me with a soccer ball signed by the whole team. It was very nice. And especially moving considering this weeks good news.
