Well it looks like you all lucked out.

That's right. It's almost 2 AM and I am blogging from Killington, you all are sooooooo lucky. No withdrawl symptoms. No loss of sleep. Sorry I'm not as witty as usuall, but I am 5 seconds away from passing out. However, I think we should all say a thank you to the next door neighbors with the unsecured wireless connection. Talk to you in the morning. - elizabeth

I'm glad you all made it safe. Have a great trip, and enjoy the skiing. Think of something besides "Fred", if that's possible. Enjoy your family. Love, Aim

Elizabeth! Katrina just let me know about Fred. What a bastard. (Fred, not Katrina :) I am so glad to see that you have so quickly turned what could easily (and justifiably) be anger into thanks and love for your family and others who are going through your same situation. My mother went through breast cancer, surgery, chemo, radiation - the works - almost 2 years ago and I have seen how it changed her appreciation of life. I can see that the same has already started to happen for you.
Glad to hear the first chemo went well. Hope you are enjoying VT - may the snow be fluffy and the fireplace cozy. You are a beautiful , strong woman and a fantastic writer. I know you will make the best of this difficult time.
My love to you and your family!

Hi, Elizabeth--

I think old age is getting to me. This is the third time I am trying to put comments on your blog. I can't find any of them. What am I doing wrong?

Whatever, maybe this one will take. Just want to let you know that we are thinking of you and that we are admiring you for your positive attitude. Hang in there and please don't break anything. You are in our prayers.

So now I see today's comment twice! Amazing, positively overwhelming! To think that I have mastered whatever it is I seem to have mastered. Tomorrow I'll attempt to count all the way up to 10!

Could it be that they are trying to make up for "losing" my comments earlier. Naw.....it's still the age!

The best to you!

Gerhard - not to worry. Your first comment was submitted and was very touching. It just wasn't submitted with this post. It was submitted on an early post. But all is well. You are not the only one to do this and I have been making it a habit to go back and check the number of comments on all the other posts. Just to check. Thanks for the thoughts. -elizabeth
