Uh. Oh. The addicts are in trouble.

Did I mention that I'm going out of town this weekend. The whole family is. We are going to Killington to go skiing. I know. I just had chemo. But I'm not feeling horrible, and I think I could pull off half a day. Even if I can't, the house has a fire place. I can't think of a better place to take a nap. However, I do promise to make an effort to find a wi-fi conection in order to update from Vermont. If not this is it until Monday. It's OK. Take deep breaths. That's it, in through the nose, out through the mouth. Good. If you feel yourself getting lightheaded, sit down and breath into a paper bag.

Now on to the comment section. Katrina - it was a very good suggestion to not put aside personal hygene for blogging. And Julie - if I could have found my roll of duct tape it would most certainly have played a role. Thanks to everyone for writing. Off to ski. - Elizabeth

Tutti Fruitti, forgot you and the family were going to VT for a long weekend. I now remember the look of horror on Scott's face when he found he would be down 4 choir members for Sunday's anthem. You go girl..have fun, ski, sleep on that wonderful sofa, eat and just have a marvelous time.

P.S. There's two place to get online at Killington, one is a Cyber Cafe inside Pizza Jerk's next to the Grist Mill. The second one is a free internet at the Suds and Beer.

Love, Nel

Y'all make me tired!
I may need some meds after reading your comments. I think we need a tree diagram of who is who and who they belong to. The Who family!
Enjoy the fireplace, sleep away, and be nice to your mom!

Hey, Elizabeth... Katrina just gave me the news... I'm totally stunned here. I've just been reading your blog and I really appreciate your humor and I know that your positive attitude is going to pull you right through this thing!

My mom just had breast cancer about a hear and half ago, and she's now got a clean bill of health after a small surgery and radiation. It's a different sort of thing, but I just though I'd mention that she really kicked her lump's butt. A bit of inspiration, I hope.

Anyway, keep up the writing! I've added you to my list of daily sites, so you'll be in mine and Elisa's thoughts until you're through this (and longer if you keep writing such funny stuff!).

Peace and Love,
Leon

I don't know if this is good news for your blog fans or bad news for you, but there is a wireless signal in the condo. Our neighbor didn't secure his wireless network. Shhh... Have fun up there this weekend! Love, Kristin

Elizabeth,
Please tell Katrina that for insisting on correcting your spelling of Hodgkin's that I hope your VT trip is SO FUN!! And in response to your wondering about purpose... a high school boyfriend of mine won a bout with non-Hodgkin's our sophomore year, and has since spent all sorts of years and dollars trying to build the academic foundation he needs to serve as a counselor for families going through similar ordeals. And here, overnight and for the mere price of DSL connection, you've done it. Can you even IMAGINE how many people out there are reading your blog right now and finding strength, comfort, a laugh, a much-needed connection to turn a day of gurneys and needles around? Thank you for being so strong, for writing so beautifully, and for trusting all of us to use proper grammar at all times. ;)
